The fund managers are playing the fear factor and are hoping the retailers are
falling for it. The retailers keep buying on any weakness. Thats because they
know that in the long run sharemarkets always go up. I think the majority of
them have a long term view.
The brokers holding their clients funds on the sidelines are sweating for a drop,
as their clients are losing their patience holding cash, as they were advised to.
They will eventually have to enter the market and those brokers will be out
of a job. Good riddance.
It may go under 3000 and stay there for a while but everyone will be looking to
top up, so I cant see it staying there for too long.
