If you take it literally, then yes you would be correct.

But I, and I believe to a large extent what the originator of the quote, wanted to convey is that timing is super important. For some of us, who may have bought BBUS a while back in the $3s (whether it was to hedge or as we thought as an informed investment decision), we are in the red. We are probably right about the market being overvalued, and that eventually the market will rationalise and react the way we had originally anticipated... but for the time being, we face the unenviable decision on whether or not to cut our losses on a daily basis.
