Just thought I might share a little today for anyone whose frustrated by the Bus and interested in what another travelsick Bus rider and trader is feeling.
Like most people cashed out of some of my portfolio kept some cash and made a bit bigger play on the Bus a couple of months ago because clearly everything was going to crash and burn. Yeah right got that wrong haha. Anyway whilst the Bus has been killing me most of my portfolio has been chugging along well beyond my expectations with a couple of standout eg Fang up 50% crazy in these times but I'll take it. FYI my portfolio atm consist of a combination 27 stocks and etf's 20 are doing great and 7 between 1 and 8% down. Let's not mention the Bus
Loss on the bus hit the point when I had to make decisions I previously have traded this in short hits a week at the most and done ok so that was offsetting my loss, this time I thought we were going to see a big correction and kept holding on and just felt the moment I jump off it would happen because like every f#cking day it seems like it should. So needed to snap myself out of my traditional trading approach and get my head around the whole fed thing, in short when I looked into I realized you can't fight the fed aaagh those smartass F#ckers that get on here on the down days were right. The 2 things that hit home for me out of a lot of reading were from the fed
and the fact that this stimulus would continue until September 30.
Sure there may still be small opportunities and if some significant event happens that would change things but I think the fed has plenty in the tank and has been helped by robinhood traders etc. So been looking for a little upside to get out ( you know tonight's the night) but hasn't happened and yesterday was really wanting to top up some other positions that were looking cherry so sold 75% of the bus took a hit and topped up with a little added to cash.
Today was a big relief and I felt the trading gods were with me all went green in particular msb up 10% and imm up 16%. so was nice to get some of the Bus loss back on other trades.
Sure enough 26 green but still that F#cking red Bus down another $500 bucks so f#ck it sold and topped up again
Imm has a nice little afternoon run and the 30000 I bought makes close to $500 ….F#ck you Bus haha
I still rate Bbus and will back on board, just think it's different times which has been hard for me personally to get my head around. I am also very aware that this market will skin you alive if you think everything is good and perhaps will cash out everything on September 29 haha.
P.S. No one likes a blow hard, so yep had a good day big deal everything could be red for me tomorrow.
I appreciate and relate to a lot of the posts and frustration on here especially those not sure which way to go and just thought I would make it real from my perspective. Probably all go to sh!t tomorrow haha this is definitely not trading advice I mean heck I am still down $3000 grand on the Bus but as they say it's better than expected HaHA.
