Yeah, there was a post here from around April/June where we did an analysis into BBUS and it's not just the decay thats built into the fund, but also the compounding effect that builds up over time.
For example:
Say the price is 100 (just for arguments sake), go up 3%. Now go down 3%, you will end up at less then 100.
**Edit** - In addition, add to this that the leverage changes from 2% to 2.75% daily.
That's the compounding effect that builds up over time in all of these ETF's unfortunately on top of the decay thats due to the ETF fees. It's great for a short term hedge but over a few months it really starts to eat away at the account.
