I have chosen, however, to go the more traditional.route of "ownership" through Asx: pMGOLD ( Perth Mint) it is not hedged against currency movements, so it has softened as $Aus gets stronger.
I say "ownership" as you can exchange your shares for gold at any time. It's a hedge which is entirely different to having shares in a miner.
