Thank you very much. I know nothing about resources but I came across and checked out the announcement and read it and read through the entire hot copper thread about it. To be honest it didnt make sense I had no idea what was really going on.

So then anyway I went and traced back to the moment that the share price instantly died in 2015. I see that there was an announcement that basically said "we found gold" and yes it specifically said it was gold, they never said something like "looks like gold" they actually said it was gold.
They call out the guy who did the work which is supposed to be an experienced geologist. But they also highlight further down that they cannot confirm anything until the assay results come back and it was not in some massive fine print it was pretty clear. They also clearly show a picture of the supposed gold.

Then the price went up big time. Then later on a trading halt and after a while no announcements, many got spooked many not sure whats going on, some very optimistic, all sentiment getting worse over time. Very bad sentiment at the annual general meeting where they still wouldnt tell anyone anything. The board was supposed to be really good and experienced but shareholders not happy with them now.

Then finally the results. Basically as you said it was not gold it was some error and it was nothing. Instantly down to 1c.

Now the questions...

@grannysmithgeo - why do you regard this as their most important announcement as the SP is now 15c and it looks like BBX has some wild times in 2020 - why is this event in 2015 the most important?

Does this have anything to do with what I posted above with the market manipulator? Is it or are they somehow related? Could the market manipulator have been involved somehow or not related or relevant at all?
