I think you will find in nearly all the major coal companies have made announcements to pursue coal to liquids at some point in the future ,peabody and anglo of late have made statements to go for it, as for underground coal gas to liquids linc is the key player, if they prove that they can produce the liquids without digging the stuff up and then gasifying it they will be light years in front and will have quite a few big bedfellows i would think..IMO
