I tend to look at targets based on the brokering firm making them. Do they have a good track record in a particluar sector. Are their recommendations credible and supported by other sources. To a degree a large brokering firms targets become self fullfilling prophesies.....as the brokers own clients get on board andin ever incresing numbers hold tight for the ride..momentum takes over. Here we have BBY- Their reseach in my experience is certgainly credible and I have had good success with many of the stocks they recommend. I like their research as it is thorough and easy for a punter like me to understand. The fact that they have bothered to cover the stock at all shows IMHO that SDL has a good future.

Cant comment on co directors misleading or telling untruths to the market- nothing I have really experienced in 10 years of trading myself....but there are listing rules and corp govenance and the corporate cops that will deal with such individuals. cheers Karic.
