Seems to be a great way to conjure up money out of thin air. Attempt to buy a company for $100m and it increases your own valuation by $800m. Can't understand why they didn't offer to buy a $200 million company? Next time Peter Bond sneezes LNCs valuation will probably increase by another billion or so.
Well done to LNC for lining up these brokers and their fanciful valuations. Next time please spare us the spreadsheet - it hurts my brain. Just put a number at the top that you want it to go to and put it out on hotcopper, where you can always find someone who hasn't worked out the difference between a share price and a market cap.
