they dug another boxcut to hold all the dirty water that had accumlated in the pit as it was about to hold up mining. They bought bluff without understanding a proper solution for almost a Giga litre of water, so panic/rushed and thought to put it in the advancing pre-strip..
Hence I wonder if the same project managers from BCB are moved to broadmeadow, as the decision process and understanding of critical show-stoppers imo was lacking.
