Likely these middle managers have fleets of staff under them which while they are managing them it is just a delegation role. There is not going to be that much to mining once up and running, dig the ore, put it on a train then ship and off it goes. Again all the lower down stuff has managers up the line. All in all he could be paid a little over the odds for the size of the company now but as mentioned in a few months times when we are $1 a share and revenue is $50 million starts to look OK. Could he be on lower base though and a more stretch incentive bonus structure on EBITDA or even share price targets? Maybe. We also need to remember he has been there 17 years and would have vital relationships with Iridium and other market players - if he goes this thing may crumble so let's back him in and see where we are in August 2023 - if he has not pulled it off by then perhaps we are entitled to ask questions.
