My take is on 15,000 subscribers in our territory we can now say this brings in $6 million based on trends emerging with ARPU Per Month of $45 (incl GST).

Based on BCC presentation numbers we would get about $2 million in operating profit which is 70% of the gross margin so perhaps costs would be $3 million, we get 70% of the remaining $3 million and other $1 million goes in to JV bank account for running costs and excess distribution?

I was also doing some thinking that let's say Apple come out with this Globalstar partnership for now to offer some rudimentary SOS satellite feature the main reason it seems Zoleo is being taken up by people is for messaging in remote areas as they want to stay connected, so this won't change too much. If Apple then says in the future we want to expand capabilities so you can message from remote areas or when overseas they would likely then say we will open it up to 4-5 global satellite companies no different to currently how they have cellular companies using their devices? If they open it up to general messaging the network will also need more than one player and competition is good. This could in fact put Zoleo in the box seat to then be a carrier who runs straight to the phone in partnership with Iridium (assuming Iridium don't get greedy). This could be a huge opportunity as global GPS messaging increases - I am a fisherman and have at times been without range, when I am overseas it would also be good to not stuff around with other plans so it would be useful to pay $50 a month and get this on my phone but the point is Apple is unlikely to put it all to Globalstar as it would be like only dealing with AT & T or Telstra plus the network issues it may bring. A different take and possibly the more likely outcome longer term also.
