1) typically retail bids and pro demand is waiting offscreen to either buy or sell
2) pro buyers may also load up fake sells high enough about the auction match price which will just get pulled before they get hit
not saying what the price is going to do but just in general mostly I ignore the on screen depth unless it’s moving rapidly that day and bids are real in real time
