I read much and say little, but one has to dip in now and again.

I like chelkn's posts as they seem very well informed but I have to pull him up on this one.

The Quarterlies NEVER say much - if they did then the company would be breaking continuous disclosure rules. Quarterlies are an anachronistic leftover from the old days when CD wasn't the rule and lots of insiders made lots of money on the quarterly.

They are more of a summary and newsletter and no one should be surprised by one.

Secondly, expecting news flow from a company in January is like expecting sssx from your wife - nice to think about but unlikely. IOH is admittedly active, but their announcement was a resource update (computer boffin stuff by consultants who never sleep)

BC Iron is currently going through boring stuff like permitting and getting their ducks in a row to become a producer!!

As for permitting? March seems optimistic, but even if they got their final permits in May/June, they still get ore out late this year and are in full production in 2011.
