Super funds / institutions use OPM.
you can easily spend OPM to achieve a desired outcome as it’s not your money and the timeframes are usually life long (retirement 65). Institution investors have massive advantages over retail:
1 they don’t pay brokerage
2 they have research specialists
3 They have access to OPM black pool and likely inside trade info (unconfirmed but likely)
4 Directors know whatever dodgy (or not dodgy - I just lean towards dodgy by default) deal they are going to pull.
