No regrets here at all @MrCK.
If you believe in the investing 'story', and importantly have faith in those 'telling' the story, then a long-term buy such as BCI will always deliver a return.
Yep, Oct 2014 - BCI took over IOH. And here we are now in 2022, in a far, far better position than we were back in Oct 2014. And still the BCI/Mardie 'story' shows great promise and potential. A few challenges and roadblocks to get over, but I've always been quietly confident Mardie will 'get there', due in the main to company's professionalism.
I have a VERY special bottle of Red wine stored away in my cellar for BCI's 'first salt on ship', and fully intend to enjoy that particular milestone.
