Is it possible, just possible that this picture actually shows the steel piles for the jetty laid out on a lie down area. I had previously dismissed as not being able to determine what this photo showed and why on earth they cleared this space, I think I erroneously came to conclusion thinking the dots laid out were piles of scrib that had been burnt. Now if you squint most of the piles might actually be piles if you see what I mean.
