With regard to your query re rising sea levels, check the original Mardie DFS at -

You may also want to review the Environmental Review Document for Mardie at -
https://www.bciminerals.com.au/sustainability/environmental-protection.html
I'm pretty sure it was dealt with to some degree in one or both of these documents.
