BCL/BOC openly admit they have no money. How do you think they will finance this thing?
I tend to agree with you that the ABG are looking at this phantom shareholding & seeing riches above & beyond the normal royalties. And the PNG Gov are looking at control, over the mine & the ABG.
But their shareholding is a pipe dream; they will get hugely diluted to bring this to fruition.
And furthermore BOC/BCL got up before the government ministers recently & told them not to hold their breath for any money & that they should lower their tax take on it anyway (so any partners we bring in will make more).
