Holding ground, but I believe on it's own merits in cancer diagnostics.
Although some viruses can lead to cancers, the fields of virology and oncology are vast, and in attempting to find effective treatments and vaccines, researchers are driven to specificity. The specifics of COVID-19 are beginning to be understood, and the answer will come from researchers CLOSELY ASSOCIATED with the study of viruses and in particular, influenza type illnesses.
