Given your name I'll share a photo I took on the weekend of Admiral Sato's sword help by the Navy. I knew about the Japanese surrender sword on USS Missouri I had know idea there was 3 swords and we have one.

The other sword below Admiral Sato's sword was the family sword of a very brave IJN sailor who was killed by us while he attacked Sydney in 1942. The three midget subs were a suicide mission before they started I think. No chance I could fit into the sub! I am a skinny stick and even my smaller mates would not be able to get in. Thats not my head. He has much more hair than I!

Just some of the many Navy Rabbits several of my crew still serving had not seen some of this before! It and a lot more held at the Navy Heritage Museum. The security is very very good!!!
Happily its free to visit and worth it. Public access is not currently available as a large building project is underway. Many hidden gems just like BD1
