be a dad or die in afghanistan

The call to fight in WW2 was big and many went and many died in a serious conflict.

I don't want to discuss that here.

But, what about men doing multiple tours of duty in Afghanistan or Iraq when they have young children.

I find that despicable.

We are not talking about a world conflict.

If a soldier is single OR has grown up children then by all means let them play their killing games.

But for one to leave his wife and young children without a father is just selfish IMO.
