    I assume this is in relation to Blaine Diddams...the SAS Perth father shot in the chest after 'enegaging' insurgents.

    It did seem a waste of a good life. I realise these men dedicate themselves 100%, but Blaine had already done his 'fair share'...so to say.

    I also realise you can die anytime in any circumastance when at war...but what made his death seem really 'cheap' was that he died of a chest wound. Do we not issue body armour?
