new orleans media farce This is a result of gross incompetence by New Orleans officials aided and abetted by a totally inept LA governor who stopped the Feds from coming into the state to help. On top of this we had hysterical news reporting (hundreds of bodies, massive shoot outs etc etc, absolutely incredible) that was so inaccurate it bordered on criminal. Did anyone notice the monstorous piles of food and drink wrappers that piled up in and around the Superdome while everyone was dying of heat exhaustion and lack of food?
