I couldn't agree more MF.
For a long period I was always against buying shares primarily I likened it to gambling and I had little knowledge about buying and selling shares. With the vast amount of knowledge now available on the internet, I feel relatively comfortable about trading shares. I have my SMSF that has a wide variety of shares that I mainly purchased at the height of the GFC, basing my expectation that the SM always rebounds and while it was at such low levels thought that it should go back roughly where it retreated from. My SMSF has more than doubled in that two year period. Only recently I found Hot Copper from a friend at work. I read as many posts as I could over 3 days and decided to sell a lot of my sideways moving shares and purchased a lot that have appeared on HC. I am digressing a bit but I can see the fundamentals of CCC mainly due to the excellent posts of several HC guys and reading as much as I can about CCC. I can see the manipulation of some of the shares I have because of the many small trades from a few minutes before the bell and 10 mins after. I am not worried about the short term price movement as I am confident of the long term picture.
