I'm suggesting that if you were a little unscrupulous and owned a lot of shares that you would pack the sell side to get the unfortunate to sell out enabling you to purchase at a lot lower price. The waiting and the insecurity of events not happening when everyone wants creates a perfect environment for this to happen.
