It's not easy to tell what impresses a market.
On September 20 HIGHLANDS PACIFIC (HIG) reported that a
high-grade gold-bearing lode structure 2.3 metres wide and assaying
1,960 g/t gold had been intercepted in the first amond drill hole of
a new drilling program at Kora in Papua New Guinea.
The 1,960 g/t was equal to 63 ozs a tonne - that is, almost 10 TIMES
higher in o/t, or ounces a tonne, than what Cazaly reported in
g/t yesterday.
Highlands rose from 37c on the day of the announcement to as
high as 60c three weeks later, but are presently attracting little
interest at 50c. (CAZ at 65c)
