just a thought. thinking about the pilot plant being trialled at the ISK plant in Japan. The estimated daily output from the pilot plant is 1 kg. So over a year it should produce 365 kg. If the annual global supply of scandium is 15 tonnes (ie 15000 kg) , then the ISK pilot plant could supply 365/15000 x 100 = 2.4% of global demand!
Thats a significant contribution from one pilot plant! What sort of scale up would a commercial plant be -
10 times the size? The TiO2 industry could carve a big piece of scandium supply if there is even a modest uptake of CLQ's technology - if the big players like Kronox and DuPont etc get involved, CLQ could truly be at the centre of the scandium market especially when supply from Syerston comes on stream.
