I think we have all discussed the nature of scandium and the fact that whilst there is a demand for its use in large scale applications the rarity and cost of the mineral has limited its use in those areas to date. I don't think anyone expects the discussions currently taking place for the uptake of the product ( yes that's right wombat they are already ensuring a market a certain amount of it before production begins ) will not see the current market price reduced (hopefully to a level where all other producers are uneconomical). what the article does reinforce is the size of the deposit.
