Daveyboy, have we got you all wrong? There is another take perhaps. You've selected apg as your next foray, based probably on postive feedback on hc, bhp buy-ins, etc etc. But you have had seriously bad experiences in purchases to date; your bank is down to zip plus a little; your wife is getting cranky or doesn't know; and you are flit scared to dive in again. So you play the devils advocate; throw in all these negative vibes; and see what responses you get. You reckon that if 99% of responses are positive, it may be a good thing, and you may get your money back and save the marriage, or your sanity. If enough people are negative, you'll stay away. If this is the case, and as you say you have no shares, I can see no other explanation, then come clean; just say the co sounds good but you are flit scared of doing your bucks again. The people on this site, are, in my experience, honest and reliable, and give good info when they can. Obviously we have all had lobotomies, but you generally get serious responses when you ask serious questions; questions without negative overtones. And no, invest in apg tomorrow, and you are not going to have a 3 bagger in the short term or recover the bank if you have lost it. It's an investment at the moment. There may be some trading down the track this year; I don't know. And all opinions on apg are tempered by our own circumstances and personal strategies; they are not the same as yours; so it's unwise to base investment decisions on the decisions of others - alone. I have a basket case of apg and I'm seriously concerned. Seriously!! Not that I don't think that apg will come good; more that the bank will move on me first before apg starts to realise its potential. And I have to sell my apg; or something else that I don't want to. So my house is on the market until things improve. My belief is that apg is worth more than my house. But every hc contributer has a different story; we are all here for different reasons; and perhaps none are the same as yours. You have to make a decision based on your research; and live with it. For me, when decisions are hard, I go on gut instinct. Not sure it's ever worked, but I know it is my decision and I am to blame if it goes wrong. And if this is not you, I apologise. Good luck anyway. jwt
