    G'day Nihilism,

    Was waiting for someone to say that but I beg to differ on that point.

    When a system has been tested and been shown to work, those that can derive the maximum benefit from said set of circumstances will thrive and therefore bear more offspring.

    With more offspring produced, unnecessary changes to ways of doing things carry reduced overall risk and potentially high reward.

    The ability to adapt to changes in circumstances is another matter; one which will be tested soon re trading.
