The point I was trying to make is that if you have fished the estuaries for generations and catches remain consistent and adequate, the decision to go inland chasing antelopes because you've heard they're out there is fraught with risk, therefore those who choose to stay with the fishing will likely survive to a ripe old age, although miss out on the potential bulk protein reward the antelope chasers but are far less likely to end up as lion shit.
Good point re the rational/emotional components of acceptance of, or willingness to change.
Reckon the new HC has definitely flunked on the emotional side of the ledger which is understandable given the attachment users have to the oldie. Maybe they should have included a few purely cosmetic similarities?
