Sorry, but that is complete BS. People use it to ease cashflow - sure - but then just top up on additional purchases (which they can now make because their cashflow is temporarily eased) until it all comes crashing down and weekly payments catch up with each other for more crap that you really didn't need to buy in the first place. To state that people use BNPL to manage their budget is just naive.
