Do you think, historically, things always get better? I mean better for who? The last hundred years saw a lot of change. The last 10 years has seen a lot also. Increased surveillance, tighter security, paranoid societies, increased health problems in kids both mental and physical, increased crime, gangs, drugs, violence on a global scale, lower moral standards ... the list goes on.
Things ALWAYS get better for the ruling class.
Things NEVER get better for the rest!
Sure there are opportunities to be had in every aspect of life, but by and large, the majority of Earth's population will suffer for many, many, many years to come.
We can count ourselves lucky we were born in this country.
