Thanks for the comprehensive replies - lots of good info which I need to follow up. From memory, the GFC took 1 year to play out from top to bottom. It's difficult not to buy bargains at the moment, but I'll be staying on the sidelines until there is much more certainty about how this crisis is going to play out.
