I've seen plenty of trucks and cars run red lights in my time. I'm so paranoid that I do take a quick glance side to side as I drive through green lights. I think I learnt this habbit from a copper mate of mine yonks ago who seemed to do it all the time. I think it was part of his driver training to scan the streets as he drove by.
