Ford Motor company’s EV division delivered 36,000 EV’s for the Q1 23/24 quarter, at an average loss of $36k USD PER UNIT DELIVERED! A total loss of $1.3billion for the quarter. Even is sales volumes drastically increase, that is a hell of a lot of ground to make up, and thats just to break even.
Meanwhile their passenger and commercial ICE department delivered very strong profits.
How long before OEM’s realise this EV garbage is commercially and practically unviable and go back to reinvesting in ICE and Hybrid technologies which is what the large majority of people still want….
