The only company with spare gas in Victoria is the Bass Gas Joint Venture owned by Woodside and Exxon. The catch is the more they sell gas now the less gas will be available in the next few years at the Bass Gas JV fields. And they are trying to sell their remaining gas at a higher gas price.
BPT will soon be running Otway Gas Plant at full capacity. Waiting for final approval at the Enterprise Gas field and the completion of two more Thylacine offshore wells.
