There will likely be less greenfield gas developments. Bass Strait Joint Venture will have very little incentive to drill for additional gas. The gas over there have high CO2 content. They are the biggest supplier of gas in Sydney and Melbourne. If they can sell the business, they will.
Beach Energy will continue to be a reliable source of gas in Sydney and Melbourne.
