alone will contribute 4 mmboe per year. Haven’t you worked out how much Waitsia LNG will add to BPT’s production. It is 600,000 boe per month. And Lang Lang gas plant will another 3 mmboe per year. Where the hell did you get 24.5 mmboe.?
Abandonment expense does not kick in until the gas field life is about to come to an end. All of BPT producing field have at least 15 years of production left. In any case $1.7B is not as big as the value of BPT’s oil and gas reserves which is around 500 mmboe of 2P plus 2C. At an average selling price of $90 per boe, that would be worth $45B.
