Directors of Beach Petroleum have advised that the completion of the "buy back" has been completed, some 12.033 million fully paid ordinary shares were bought back at 4.6cents per share, the cost of this purchase was taken from cash reserves. The buy back has reduced the number of Beach shareholders from approx 17,000 to 11,000. they have also had shareholder approval for the 1 to 7 plan on the share consolidation consideration.
