Just to update this thread. I sent my COMMSEC transfer papers in to move the GPL/GPR shares into my Pershing Account - having received my Computershare DRS statement.
Surprisingly, it all went through OK, and now I can see my GPL shares in my Pershing portfolio - sitting just below $1 US currently. Now I am attempting to do an off-market transfer, to move my Wife's shares into my name - saves having to manage 2 international accounts. COMMSEC indicate that this operation is fee free - here's hoping!
