Excellent post Slaveman. Certainly makes you wonder about our banks and what sort of fancy accounting they have done.
I was pulled over by an ex forex trading cop recently (he traded for some of the big boys in London and then here in Aus) and he mentioned our trading and banking systems are stuck in the 90's, so maybe we haven't adopted a lot of the dodgy practices of the US. One can hope.
