CPG, without the pie in the sky numbers how would you know that you would ever be able to get a dividend in the first place?
Doubtful whether GBG will pay much of a dividend within the timespan I was referring to. Much of their earnings will be going back into development expenditure to ramp up production.
Look at it this way too, in 5 years time, would you rather see little money for production increases and the share price at $5.00 with a 35c dividend - or, have production ramping up rapidly, the shareprice at $10.00 and no dividend?
Good dividends should be affordable in time, but not at the expense of rapid production ramp up.
