the market has been very forgiving for stock pickers especially speccies, it will be a lot harder if we do enter a bear market. Not only will drill results etc have to be a whole lot better to get attention and attract dollars, but funding will be harder to come by from placements, SPPs etc.
But I believe if world economic growth stays firm there is no reason to believe the resource sector can't continue on its merry way once the carnage is over. But stocks with no clear path forward to production will languish badly and funding will dry up. They will be vulnerable.
