bear to bull to despair

Helo all,

Some of you may recall my infrequent posts over the past years and recall me being bearish on Aus property.Some 7 or 8 months or so ago I capitulated and admitted I wrong on my bearish property views.
Since that time I have been committed to buying a family home anywhere within reason of where I currently live and STILL there is nothing affordable.
I have been prepared to buy anything liveable but even these properties are now out of reach 10-20 kms down the road.(melb bayside)
Now I know this is going to create some heated debate but I am now in complete limbo on my attitude toward Melb property.
Whilst I was a bear and then reluctant bull,I I now feel that things are so ridiculous that only a complete mug would buy anything now(even though I would buy anything liveable and affordable)
I guess I'm a complete contraction and need to see a shrink!!!
Thoughts welcome from both sides.
