Totally agree about the takeover target. Rick de Boer did confirm to me (in June during his presentation which we attended)that there was a good chance of takeover once gas is found. One of the announcement during PB#2 and initial PB#3 also talks of "selling out" as one of the options for going into production. For the US companies the market cap is peanuts. Many are watching the drilling results and will buy as many shares on market one gas is confirmed.
By the way, GDN does not need to spend on infrastructure costs because of the Williams pipeline which is next door, so they need not sell. The key question is striking the gas which is there in the ground. And it can happen anytime now. And I dont mind if there is a takeover offer of say around $1 a share.
