I believed that the US will sail through 13000 very soon. Despite the negative Bank of America results - the US market did fairly well to maintain their technical at around above 12800.
As for Aussie - fear/uncertainities still dominate but could see that selling is not that forceful as before. Expect some pull back from yesterday strong performance. Mkt needs more time to consolidate and if there is no sign of another broker going bust - I suspect more long term investors will come in. Have heard of lot of cash sitting on the sidelines that want to get back into the market. The same in US too.
Returns from fixed incomes are not that great - expect money going into commodities and undervalued good names.
