Nobody really knows how much zinc concentrate there is or isn't out there. It is a best guess scenario. I see emotive words such as "price dive" and " throwing more stockpiles in a big way" whereas the reality is the price dropped a few cents a pound and which has been subsequently recovered, and the increase in warehouse stocks of circa 4,000 tonnes, which in reality is about a few hours worth of global consumption. Hardly world shattering.
Much has been written about what is out there and where it is being held and who is holding back and that shorters are having a real dip at this...blah, blah, blah. Where in reality nobody really knows. In fact I read one article recently that blames the current shortfall on Hurricane Katrina ruining stockpiles in New Orleans, that was more than ten years ago !!!! George Dubya was the president then, the G.F.C. hadn't even bitten. Really, people are filling in the gaps with tripe.
Which now brings me to this thread. Tripe. Pure and simple. This thread is akin to a womens chat show on morning T.V. Anyone can come with a multitude of reasons why the price of Zinc, or any commodity could drop. Anyone can come up with a multitude of reasons why a companies fortunes could drop. The most common word used in these posts are IF. Now IF my uncle had of been born a girl then he would be my auntie, but that didn't happen!!!
This whole thread has absolutely no bearing on fact....just pure tripe. And if I offend anyone then bad luck, I really don't care.
