China has a long way to go before it realises its ambitions as a first world country. Believe me, this is what they are out to achieve. It may take them another 20 years, but they are not about to take their eyes off the road and hands off the wheel half-way through their journey.
There is so much to do to improve the country that they will continue to suck up all the resources they can get there.
As for India, it needs to get its house in order before things can truly take off. But once the platform has been set, these two countries will continue to power economic growth for many years to come.
The US/European countries are no longer the economic growth engines. There will come a point where the populations of China and India will fuel economic growth via internal consumption.
This boom has got a long way to go.
